Vince’s experiences range from working for some of the country’s largest companies to being involved with start-ups and small business. For the past five years, Vince has owned and operated a Sandler Training Group franchise in Louisville. At Sandler, Vince focused on working with businesses to enhance sales leadership and sales development efforts. Vince’s experience with that program and its processes provided a good basis for Cincinnati’s new producer training programs.
In addition to Vince’s sales training experience, he was also a commercial insurance producer, working at Liberty Mutual and later serving as assistant vice president at a Wells Fargo insurance agency in Louisville.
Prior to his insurance career, Vince worked in sales in the energy sector with roles at Summit Energy, Excelon Energy and Enron. With more than 25 years of sales experience in direct sales, sales management, operations and business ownership, Vince’s passion continues to be working with people, helping to challenge business owners as they develop new skills and enhance their best practices as they grow, sharing, “In business, you are either growing or getting passed by.” Vince brings his unique perspective in helping new producers achieve success.
After leaving school, Rick served in the US Navy, completing one tour in Vietnam while spending more than two years at sea in the Pacific.
Rick’s insurance career began as a field claims adjuster which soon led him to the sales and marketing side of the business. Since those early days, Rick has served in many roles, including handling claims, making direct sales as an agent and agency principal, training insurance agents, supporting personnel in 26 states and working as the lead agency trainer for the largest state independent insurance agent association in the country.
As an independent agent Rick built from scratch a book of more than $1M in revenue. Aside from a client selling the insured business, Rick never lost an account. For much of the past decade, Rick was responsible for the large commercial lines operations and staff of approximately 25 for a large independent Texas agency (total premium – approx. $100M.)
Rick has recruited, hired and trained many agents who went on to highly successful careers in almost every sales facet of the insurance industry
Upon getting to know The Cincinnati Insurance Company, Rick became convinced that this was where he wanted to complete his career. When the opportunity presented itself to join The Cincinnati Insurance Companies New Agent Training Program, he knew it was meant for him, combining his lifelong business passion of training and working with new agents across the country.
Julie Donn has broad experience in coaching, counseling and training throughout the insurance industry. Julie’s early career included experience with a large automobile manufacturer and comes from a family with an extensive knowledge of the auto industry.
Julie spent twelve years at an insurance company where she held positions including claims adjuster, supervisor for Automation & Procedures, appraisal manager and senior specialist for Human Resources.
Julie lead initiatives that that ranged from training 300 associates for a centralized call center to creating a leadership development program. For the last 14 years, Julie has coached new insurance producers to start successful careers. Julie has a passion for coaching learners and helping others succeed.
